Japanese pianist Kyoko Koyama started to play piano at the age of 3. Kyoko was admitted to Chopin Academy after awarded scholarship by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the Government of Poland. After graduation from Chopin Academy, she was admitted to University of Music and Performing Arts in Munich Upon graduation with the highest Honor, she continued and completed master’s course. She was the recipient of numerous awards including second prize with Rolex prize of Maria Canals Int’l Competition in Barcelona, Spain, First prize with Palma d’oro in Finale Ligure International Competition in Italy, second prize with gold medal in Rina Sala Gallo International Piano Competition in Monza Italy. She has performed recitals and with orchestra extensively in Japan and different parts of the world. she actively participated in different events and programs including performances in Royal Festival Hall London England, NIPPON festival in Kuji Japan and so on. She has performed with many soloists, Suk, Marion, Adorjan, Renggli, Suwanai, Bartokquartet, Smendzianka. Since 2013 she is giving piano workshop in Myanmar. And working with various musicians such as Gitameit, AOC, Myanmar National Symphony Orchestra and so on. She is now being Music adviser of Myanmar National Symphony Orchestra.
