These include the Tanglewood and Aspen Festivals in the USA; the Melbourne and Port Fairy Festivals in Australia; the New Zealand Festival; the Hong Kong Arts Festival; and the Prague-Vienna-Budapest Sommerakademie and the Edinburgh Festival in Europe

A graduate of the Trinity College of Music in London at 19, Leslie returned to Singapore and embarked on a career with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. In Singapore, He established himself, in a career as soloist, chamber and orchestral musician, and pedagogue,  as the pre-eminent cellist of his generation.
